Austin - Sweaty hipsters and the smell of bat urine float in the wind. Claims to be weird but the cops aren’t big fans of the designation. I guess to Texans weird means a few headshops and an ice cream parlor chain.
San Antonio - An excellent vacation spot for big fans of car dealerships. Some people died there once. History.
El Paso - White republican Mexico. Mostly Mexicans who walked across the border from Juarez and just said “Fuck it, good enough”.

Went to Gaybigaygay, the homo festival at the end of SXSW. It was hot and super bright, but a cloud of bears gave us some protection from
the sun for a while.
